Science

Our curriculum intent for Science is aimed at:

  • Ensuring students develop scientific knowledge and conceptual understanding through the disciplines of Biology, Chemistry and Physics;
  • Providing students with the skills for scientific enquiry, to ask and answer questions about the world around them, test them and gather and interpret evidence
  • Encourage students to engage with and understand the implications of science for today and the future
  • Allow students to communicate and present scientific concepts in a systematic, logical sequence including I.C.T, diagrams, graphs and charts

So that students become knowledgeable and can make decisions based on evidence and about science and develop an enthusiasm and enjoyment of scientific learning and discovery.
