Our curriculum intent for Drama is aimed at:
- Encourage development of a student’s perspective of the wider world by exposing them to texts which cover a range of societal issues.
- Developing their confidence and communication skills – verbal and non-verbal so students can interpret others and communicate their own emotions effectively.
- Developing students cultural capital so they can feel confident critiquing others work in the wider community.
- To encourage students to be explorative and creative when developing their work
So that students become confident and articulate communicators, who can express their ideas clearly.
